Pedestrian bridge at Legion Lake in Veteran’s Memorial Park to close Aug. 3

Those who use the trail around Legion Lake at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Richfield will find the pedestrian bridge located on the northern side of the lake under construction starting Monday, Aug. 3.Trail users will be unable to make a continuous loop around the northern side of Legion Lake.

The pedestrian bridge reconstruction is part of the Interstate 35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project and needed for construction activities related to the freeway drainage system. The pedestrian bridge will reopen in approximately six weeks.
